Since I saw this in a map called ''DotA'', I would like to ask about this function.

So, when you use a useable item, for example: Arcane Ring which regenerates mana to nearby allies and which has 30 seconds cooldown, you can't drop it when it's in cooldown. How can you make that you can't drop an item if he is in cooldown?
 
Simplest way i can think off:

Events -
Unit starts the effect of ability

Conditions -
The ability is your item ability

Actions -
Make item Undroppable.
Wait 30 seconds
Make item Droppable.
 
Sorry if I'm not helpful, but I'm really curious why you (or DotA for that matter) would need such a function after 1.22? As far as I'm aware, items already have shared cooldown since then, and they'll keep it even if you give it to another hero.

There isn't a function in trigger editor to make item droppable, isn't it?

On Topic:

Well, since my item bugs if it's being dropped, that's why I asked this.
 
I mean drop, not undrop, so you can drop your item again. Pawnable is not.

The undroppabel text are blue and you can change it to droppabel.

Well, I tried this -->

Trigger:
  • Granite Torso Item
    • Events
      • Unit - A unit Starts the effect of an ability
    • Conditions
      • (Ability being cast) Equal to Granite Torso (Avatar)
    • Actions
      • Item - Make (Item carried by (Casting unit) of type Granite Torso) Undroppable
      • Wait 5.00 seconds
      • Item - Make (Target item of issued order) Droppable


But it doesn't work.
 
I think that the spell need to have same second as the trigger.

And I looked on this post before he edited and I did not upgrade the homepage before I posted...

      • (Item-type of (Item being manipulated)) Equal to Tome of Experience
    • Actions

Umm, maybe :p I'm not sure, but it uses a wait, and the Item being manipulated is actually a global bj_ variable >.< :p
I think it would be MUI though.

    It is OK though for the main page to open up on the forum in the view it was before. As long as the portal has its own URL so it can be viewed that way I do want to try it as a regular forum view for a while

    Yeah I'm not sure what the deal is with the pagination.

    It SHOULD be there so I think it might just be an artifact of having an older style.

    I switched it to a "Standard" article forum. This will show the thread list like normal, but the threads themselves will have the first post set up above the rest of the "comments"
