I'm trying to make a map that you make a city and I was thinking in put some cars, but cars that is only possible to drive in a specific terrain for you dont see cars outside the city.
There's any way to do this?
because I was thinking in you do the city, like its florest and you change the terrain and stuff but i'm thinking now, i guess it'll belittle difficult for me, maybe i'll do something easier
The custom script is what you need to do in GUI (triggers) to remove leaks.
Leaks causes the game to become slower and slower because it creates points (leaks) that has a limited amount in each game. If you don't remove those points / leaks each time you used them, but just keep making more and more of them, the game will hit it's limit at a point and start lagging.
(Probably a lame explanation, but the best way I can give it. Feel free to explain better if you can )
leaks are simply when you create something inside function as reference like
"crate footman at "position of lol" unit". and position of lol creates in this time place in memory which later is not removed because theres no Remove "position of lol" . so you store it and remove than (something like memory adress)
Except this kind of lagg hates you and continues the lagg after the game is over and you start another map. And will not end till you restart Warcraft 3.
I am working on getting access to the old news portal under a different URL for those that would rather use that for news before we get a different news view.
It is OK though for the main page to open up on the forum in the view it was before. As long as the portal has its own URL so it can be viewed that way I do want to try it as a regular forum view for a while
I switched it to a "Standard" article forum. This will show the thread list like normal, but the threads themselves will have the first post set up above the rest of the "comments"
I would like to see it again like Ghan had it the first time with pagination though - without the pagination that view will not work but with pagination it just might...
