Are there any map editors that work on win2k?? like the kind that u can put units anywhere on the map.

worldcraft 3.3 is a pretty good map editor. i just dont know if it will work on win 2000

Umm, what game do you want an editor for?
Worldcraft is for Half-Life and its mods, if you're talking about SC/WC2 then the default editor should work fine under 2k.

im obviously talking about SC, and i need an editor to place units anywhere on the map without any restrcitions (i.e. money maps)

You mean buildings... you can't place units in the middle of an ocean or on the side of a cliff.

Download this editor:

And use the "special" editor that is one of the 5 editors.

It makes all buildings/units/etc. tiny squares and can make all things overlap. You can place units over water and cliffs, but they will not show when your playing the game.

Suicidal Insanity is currently working on a new layout. I speak with him regularly online and recently saw a preview of his new layout. He should be done shortly.

I also know he's working on a program which seems to cover everything this does... it's sort of a StarEdit 2, very awesome Even lets you edit individual strings in StarEdit, and everything such as placing units close togethar is doen on one single program instead of loading different mods. Expect to see that officially complete soon.
