"Map too Big" problem

Hello,
Why does my custom-made game say that "Map is too big" when I try to host it. Please help me. Thank you. And I have looked for this is past posts.

Well, pretty simple. The map is too big. o_O

Remove some doodads, and do some trimming to reduce file size.

BTW you made this thread twice by accident, delete the other one.

Ya, but my map is soo small. I see tons of other maps with lots of triggers, and doodads, and stuff, its kinda wierd.

That won't help.

The battle.net limit is 4mb. Triggers, doodads, units, whatever have little to do with the actual size. Imports are what makes your map large.
Any custom models/skins? Do you really need them? If not then remove some.
Any custom music? Remove it.

if you've imported any mp3's as background music, that will do it also. mine did that, and bnet wouldn't let me host. I actually had 5 by accident... rofl. anyways, i just posted about this, so you might want to look around or search the forums before you throw a post up here. But, I'm happy to answer any questions. Also, if you've redone all the wav files, it's gonna be big as well.

i remember the map limit was 2mb
