The Malebranche were the demons that Dante met when he needed to cross the boiling river of blood. They then guide him through the seventh (i think) circle of hell, and then they try to cross him.

For the purposes of the map, the model used is a Pit Lord.

Actually, I have to admit, it's no coincidence. I did get the idea for the Anti-Mage from DotA and it does currently have the Demon Hunter model, although I'm trying to find something better.
