(using tft) When im creating a custom hero i want to have detailed "tips" about each power right? well i have tried for hours and i cant seam to figure out all the crazy code in each tool tip. I know that they some how look for what level the guys is and what damage that certain abilitie will do but i can type my own in because i can't understand how blizzard came up with those. any help ?

well it's not really that hard, once you have a look at existing ones you should see how its done fairly quickly. Perhaps you are getting put off by all the hex codes and |n newline chars ?

For the research tips:

this is just one big tip, just write what you want to write here. Remember |n is newline.

For the standard tips:

these are split up into however many levels the spell is, and each level tip is separated by a comma, and it needs to have speech marks around it. Other than that, there's nothing much to it.

Those hex codes just determine what colour the text becomes in the game. The format is something like |caarrggbb[insert text]|r .

a = alpha transparency
r = red
g = green
b = blue

download the war3colour program (see FAQ) to save yourself the trouble of figuring out the hex codes.
