Placement grid

Hello,

Whilst playing a tower defense I noticed that when placing the towers there was actually an underlying grid for where the tower could be placed.

The size of the tower equated to four of these underlying "grid" boxes (2 horizontal, 2 vertical).

Is this grid a fixed size in maps?

If not where is it set?

I don't understand the question? What grid? If he made something to make players only be able to build towers at vertain places, he did it with pathing blockers most likely, and there's "standard" to that or anything.

Pathing map. 2x2 is the smallest the game comes with.

you can make it bigger if you want in the object mgr by hitting ctrl-d, this will show you all the sizes you can select under pathing map. There also is a way to import custom sizes if you can't find one that you like... but as acehart said, 2x2 is the smallest you can have.
