Quick (noob) questions about Rescue...

I don't know too much about the rescue function, in most cases I usually just change unit ownership with triggers.

Basically I want to know (confirm) the range of Rescue; is it based on the sight of the Rescuing Unit, or the Rescued Unit?

It's been ages since I've played the official campaigns or any maps with units to rescue. Looking for ideas, any comments or experiences with rescue would be appreciated.

It depends on the sight range of the Rescued Unit. For instance, if the rescued unit has range 100/100 ( day/night ) then you have to walk right up to it to rescue it. If it's 800/800, on the other hand, you can rescue it even when you're standing far away from it.
