I was at the right place at the right time! This week, in my backyard, I walked right into a massive ant war between two ant colonies. The determined ants were fighting over something quite surprising, but what was most surprising was what two ant colonies were warring with each other! Hope you guys enjoy this week's episode! Ant love forever!

Imagine discovering a new ant species and being able to give it a scientific name. That dream just got a little bit closer to becoming a reality this week. In this episode, we return to #Antopia, my backyard, where I happened to discover a peculiar new ant that I hadn't yet seen. Upon research, I was shocked to discover that we may have stumbled upon a novel ant discovery! Hope you enjoy this week's episode! Ant love forever!

Finally my dream has come true, in a remote part of the world I found a perfect little island paradise to make my survival videos on. The island even has a natural mangrove system with giant Mud Crabs and some unknown species of fish living in it.

Out beyond the western hills past lands of sleet and snow lies a place of calm and warmth neath' autumn's yearning glow The people there live humble lives the likes of which we wish we knew but come with me there now, my friends, the pumpkins welcome you.

Trying out a proper Dwarf Fortress stream today! We'll see: - A slug man adventurer with a propensity for apes/monkeys - A dwarven fort constructed on an evil coast - A little bit of MSpaint - Surprisingly few technical difficulties!

New York City officials recently released a PSA on what to do in the event of a nuclear attack despite the likelihood of an incident occurring in or near the city being very low. NBC News’ Isa Gutiérrez reports on how Mayor Eric Adams claims the move comes amid rising tensions in Ukraine.

In the 1970s and 80s, the Soviet Union put 5 landers on the surface of Venus and they each survived for over 30 minutes. No one has tried it since.

It is no secret that Youtube is quick to demonetize and censor videos about subjects like Scientology and the Chinese government. It is something that is never reported in the media but if you watch any of the creators that this happens too they all mention it. China Uncensored is definitely biased against China but they do not try to hide it. This video talks about what the big boys at Google and YouTube are doing to help China and other places keep any negative stuff about them off.

Jack heads to Amsterdam for an exclusive first ride/drive of the remarkable BeTriton. Part e-bike, part boat, part camper, it might just be one of the strangest vehicles we've ever featured on the Fully Charged Show. But is it real? Does it work? Will it float?? We put a very large man in it and pushed him out to sea to find out.
This is the coolest thing I have seen in a minute.

The Nobel prize in physics is typically awarded to scientists who make sense of nature; those whose discoveries render the universe more comprehensible. But the 2022 Nobel has been awarded to three physicists who revealed that the universe is even stranger than we thought thanks to Quantum Entanglement

I had no idea that the Hellraiser characters ever made it to cartoons but apparently that was a thing. This is on Extreme Ghostbusters which I had never heard of the variant. Anyway, here it is the Hellraiser people on cartoon ghostbusters.

It's been 30 days since Uranus first appeared in the sky. At first, it looked like our Moon had found itself a stellar partner. But then, we understood something much, much bigger was headed our way. What caused Uranus to become so unstable? How could this epic collision change the ice giant? And what's with this horrific stink? Ugh.

Santa Cruz del Islote in northern Colombia is the most crowded island on Earth, with density of population a staggering 68,000 people per square kilometer. I went there and tried everything that the most densely populated island in the world offers.

The Fine Structure Constant is one the strangest numbers in all of physics. It’s the job of physicists to worry about numbers, but there’s one number that physicists have stressed about more than any other. That number is 0.00729735256 - approximately 1/137. This is the fine structure constant, and it appears everywhere in our equations of quantum physics, and we’re still trying to figure out why.

Precious metals like gold, silver, platinum, and rhodium are expensive because they're rare in Earth's crust. But are they rare in the universe? Why is it so hard to make some of the chemical elements? Where do heavy metals come from, anyway? Turns out, we can blame it all on neutron stars and some oddities of the periodic table.

How come you're so into recipes lately? Never saw this much interest in this topic in the old days of TH.net
  • Monovertex Monovertex:
Hmm, how do I change my signature?
  • tom_mai78101 tom_mai78101:
Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.
  • The Helper The Helper:
I am not big on the recipes I am just promoting them - I use the site as a practice place promoting stuff

@tom_mai78101 I must be blind. If I go on my profile I don't see any area to edit the signature; If I go to account details (settings) I don't see any signature area either.
  • The Helper The Helper:
You can get there if you click the bell icon (alerts) and choose preferences from the bottom, signature will be in the menu on the left there https://www.thehelper.net/account/preferences

Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though
  • Varine Varine:
I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work
  • Varine Varine:
Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm
  • Varine Varine:
So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man
  • Varine Varine:
I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.
  • Varine Varine:
Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart
  • Varine Varine:
Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
  • Ghan Ghan:
