There IS a limit, but I do not remember the digit...

I repped almost 8-9 people in one day. I do not know the limit.

There's a warning message that tells: "you have given enough reputation on the last 24 hours. Try again later."

But I do not know how much you need to get that limit...

anyways, I want to ask a my question:

Krys_a Knight has +50 rep but his/her posts aren't helpful (much).

How come then +50? is he/she a close friend to an admin???

Krys_a Knight is a moderator at Goth's High. Moderators of other forums are more than likely to have more rep with less posts than other members.

Sometimes, it's not the quantity.
And, what people consider "quality" is up to those people.

But I do not think the quality of some people is equal to theor reputation as well

Krys A NIGHT (God, guys, c'mon! ) is also my girlfriend, yet I've actually only repped her once, I believe.

However, most people who know about GH seem to recognize her name as she's also our Photoshop Artist, and she got a lot of "welcoming" rep from people who saw her.

*Shrug* Eh, whatever. Basically, her reputation precedes her

I have also seen her in GH forums, but I never thought it that way.

Her status there is "High Cultist", which is a fancy name for a Super Mod Her and Kraven are Super Mods, not to mention the team members. Then there's me and Rin, who are "Head Cultists", or Administrators. Then we have a forum mod who isn't on the team, so he doesn't need the same rights as the team members

Then you got your members, validating, guests and banned

Moderator of your own little forum does not count - Moderator at popular or very active forums does. Example, Vexorian or Zoxc from wc3campaigns start posting in our forums, someone recognizes them, they get rep adjusted up because we recognize their helping contribution on their site. Vector is a moderator of some well respected graphics forum, Krys at Night is Seth's girlfriend and super moderator at Goth's High. I really hope you understand this, there is really no hard and fast rule. If I feel like adjusting someone's rep I do it (I did for Krys at Night, Vector, etc.) I have some guidelines like I mentioned in the beginning of this post but alot of times the explanation is going to be because TH felt like it.

Wrong, but the rep system is screwed up enough anyway, not like we can stop it.

Alls I have to add is the ability to look at all rep done and the comments between a date range is available to a number of Administrators here and many of us do use it. Just because you went on a rep spree does not mean that the spree stays or is not noticed.

People care to much about rep around here. Why would it matter if you got some from a friend for no reason? Does rep really reflect anything? I mean, at a point it was there so that you could become SM and huzzah! Now it is just there so people can go "zomg" when they get a new green block once in a while and then feel better than the rest who do not have as many bars

Rep is a fun little feature but should not be taken too seriously as it seems many people do, heck some people seem to LIVE for rep :S
