If you have a problem with someone giving you negative rep it is OK to complain about it (BUT NOT HERE - do it to your friends in Real Life). Even I get crazy negative rep every once in a while. If you are really helpful that -1 negative rep is not going to hurt ya.

What is the benefit of more reputation? (I mean, many need your help and trust you whatever your rep is)

My heart jumped when I saw that reputation search page, but then I realized that's a user manual for the board administrators. Normal users don't have access to it.

If you are really helpful that -1 negative rep is not going to hurt ya.

I've noticed that helping about 20 people you will earn you one +rep point (if you are lucky). Disagreeing with (no flaming, just disagree) about 2 people will earn you 2 -rep points.
The fact is, helping doesnt pay off.

If you give -rep for a dump reason it can be cleared, if you +rep for dumb reasons or something similar (remembers several of TH's PMs to self) an its not massive then you can get away with it. the random rep thing was okay but I think it was comming to a point where it would have to be stopped.

I would say yes (just go -1000+ rep to find out, lol)
Another affair about rep: if you become a SM, and your rep afterwards becomes less than 75, will something occur?

75 is no longer the magic number. Just because you get 75 rep no longers guarantees you special membership. When SM's do not log in for months at a time their rep will start to decay (this is a manual process) and if they don't log in for many many months it is possible I will remove them as SM but this is solely up to me.

Does this mean that you can be SM, doing achievements with less rep than 75?

Yes, but it also means you could have over 100 rep without becomming an SM, mostly if you have a bad attitude, spam etc.

Huh? can you actually have bad behaviour and spam and still have 100+ rep? sounds weird...

Well, it might be difficult to get 100 rep if you got bad behavior, but if you've been a member for like a year and slowly increased your reputation you might have more then 75 but the admins/mods think you are rude, so... well, yeah.
