Honey Garlic Shrimp Stir-Fry

This Honey Garlic Shrimp recipe makes a healthy and delicious Stir-Fry meal featuring shrimp and vegetables.

Ingredients:
  • 12 large shrimp, tail off deveined
  • 1 1/2 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup onion
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 Tbsp oil
  • Large wok or skillet
  • Mixing bowl
Directions:
  • In the mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, honey, ginger, red pepper flakes and garlic together, adding the cornstarch last
  • Mix until all the lumps are gone then put aside
  • Heat oil in wok or skillet over medium high heat
  • Add in bell peppers and onions and cook approximately 3-4 minutes
  • Add in broccoli and cook another 4 minutes or so before adding in butter
  • Once the butter is melted add in shrimp and cook approximately 2 minutes on each side
  • Add in the sauce and cook until it thickens, about 2 minutes
Enjoy!

Note:

  • Serve over rice
