Creamy Crack Chicken Penne
This Crack Chicken Penne recipe combines bacon and ranch flavors with a creamy and cheesy sauce to make a deliciously addictive dinner.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb penne pasta
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 3/4 cup bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 Tablespoons chopped fresh parsley for garnish
- Large Skillet
- Cook the penne pasta according to the instructions on the package then drain and set aside
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat
- Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and saute until they become translucent
- Reduce the heat to low and add the softened cream cheese and ranch seasoning mix to the skillet
- Stir until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy
- Gradually pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring continuously until the sauce is well combined
- Add the shredded chicken, half of the cooked bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese to the skillet
- Stir until the cheese melts and all the ingredients are well mixed
- Combine the cooked penne with the creamy chicken mixture, making sure everything is evenly mixed
- Garnish the dish with the remaining bacon and fresh parsley before serving
