Baked Pork Chops with a Butter Garlic Sauce
This recipe is for oven baked pork chops that are well seasoned and paired with a tasty butter garlic sauce.
Ingredients:
- Pork chops, bone in
- Kosher salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Thyme, to taste
- Garlic powder, to taste
- Onion powder, to taste
- Steak seasoning, to taste
- Paprika, to taste
- 4 Cloves garlic minced
- 2 sticks butter
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- Cast iron skillet
- Small bowl for mixing
- Preheat oven to 375 F
- Season pork chops with salt and pepper and the spices
- In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, garlic and thyme
- In a cast iron skillet heat olive oil over medium heat
- When the skillet is really hot, add pork chops
- Sear pork chops until golden brown, about 2 minutes on each side
- Pour garlic butter mixture over pork chops in skillet and cover with foil
- Place skillet in the oven and cook about 20 minutes or until pork chops get the internal temperature of 145 F
- Pour remaining butter sauce over pork chops and serve
