Amish Country Casserole
This Amish Country Casserole recipe makes an old fashioned ground beef casserole the Amish way.
Ingredients:
- 12 oz medium egg noodles
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 (10.5 oz) can tomato soup
- 1 (10.5 oz) can unsalted cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 2 Tbsp onion flakes
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 9 x 13 baking pan
- Pot for boiling
- Strainer for pasta
- Large skillet
- Large mixing bowl
- Preheat your oven to 350 F (175 C)
- Lightly grease the 9×13-inch baking pan with cooking spray and set it aside
- Cook and drain the egg noodles according to the package instructions and set them aside
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until it’s no longer pink and drain any excess fat
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the tomato soup, cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion flakes then mix until well combined
- Add the cooked ground beef and egg noodles to the soup mixture and stir until everything is evenly coated
- Transfer the noodle mixture to the prepared baking pan, spreading it out evenly
- Sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese over the top
- Bake the casserole, uncovered, for 25 to 30 minutes, or until it’s heated through and the cheese is melted and bubbly
- Once done, remove the casserole from the oven and serve it
