(CNN) -- Don't panic, but we're running out of internet addresses.

Not domain names -- those website names that you see at the top of this page and which always start with some semblance of "http://" and "www."

We've got plenty of those.

But, according to statements from prominent internet thinkers this week, we may run out of internet protocol -- or IP -- addresses in less than a year.

Many people in the Network department I know of have already added support for IPv6 into their networks for businesses. IPv6 support is out there more than people think. It's just not being fully utilized.

You sir, are completely and utterly wrong. Everything, even the internet, has limits. The same thing happened to phones, as mentioned in the article.

Technically, everything is "limitless" if someones willing to change it...
In this case, to "change" it, you'd have to change the way billions and billions of people use the internet over the entire world. Have fun with that...

This is old news. We already ran out, so we mapped ports to LAN IP's and called it "NAT".
Of course, this too, is probably stretched more or less as far as it will go..

The solution is obviously to start killing people.
