so gives a fuck. My current map has real accuracy that is dependent on range. There's around 9 different weapons, each with there own fire rate, accuracy, power, reload time, burst time (if not automatic)
And I can very easily add collision to those bullets so they don't go through terrain or doodads.

The weapons your probably talking about;

btw, tell us when you are selfish and protect your maps. I just lost about 5 hours of work on a map (most of which I forgot the equations to what I was doing and a shitload of notes) because you decided to protect and cause the world editor to crash.

lol 72 slots its too stupid! you dont understand ALL FRIGATES in 1500-1700 y had 5 DECKS -max! and mine idea its do ships more reallistic!!

every deck have 6slots ,4 gun decks = max 24guns,plus 1cargo deck for store something

max 24guns its ok -but 72 its stupid...

PS. also in Naval Combat is Memory Leak becouse you(or not you) dont understand how to make it right...

altho your screenshots look nice, i would suggest you work on your english before posting here, i checked out the site you gave, and if im not mistaken, english is not your first language is it? well, i hate to say it but, because this is a fourm whos main language is english, typeing sentences that are gramatically incorrect can be comfuseing. also i you want anyone here to actualy play your map, you gotta give specific features that are in your map, anything that is new in your map. And please, dont use the word "cool" when describeing your items, (or in your case, guns and sails) give specifics, an example would be...

something like that, you have to be discriptive in your posts, other then that your screenies look good, just a bit big. so i will suggest and ask that you put them in thumbles like how your last post suggested.

This map is cool, as i see the screenies! Save/load and 30 slot thingy is nice too. Btw, you were asking if i ever saw a bship where you could have 30 weapons in your game? Yes i did, simply the latest ver of sked, the latest bship crossfire! Yes, with item doubling and combining, you can have up to 30-40 wepons in a SIMPLE, AN LONELY NORMAL INVENTORY!

This is very, very interesting. Can I ask you something, CEMEHbl4? Have you ever played Icewind? It's like battleships, but much more custom.

By the way, your English is not fine, it's horrible. It's SINFULLY bad.

Lastly, your map looks good, but chances are it's horribly imbalanced since it's in its beta stage. Complete this first, and then I'll play it.

As you might know, the original creator of IceWind is Sacreligious, the clan chieftain of the Clan GS (Graveyard Shift) (im in btw!! ^_^) And this map is the best battleship i ever saw (i havnt saw my bsghip new era done yet !!-_-) And this battleship (your) is like 70% nice, 15% copied, 10% boring and 5% extra-trilling! Anyway, i try the map right now a second time! (omfg, its protected AWWW, I HATE THAT!)

I played Icewind one time... map is ok,but:

1. i really dont like winter-terrain (its original of course,but i like carribean)
2. upgrade feature looks strange,is it really need in BattleShips? i think no,boost your boat with Elite Crew spell by lvl-upping its better (because your crew is always with you, -exclude the flying ships) your upgrades will be lost then you change boat -so upgrades are for nooobs?

battleships -its not a "stupid dota"! its game about WAR MACHINES and what magic--craft we are talking about?

fire cannon + fire cannon = ice cannon are you all think that its cool? lol some kind of magic in game about WAR MACHINES? lol this idea is really no need here

but I shall agree, that for some weapon are necessary upgrades (like that): Machingun TT-47 + The universal extension = Machingun TT-47 [Upgraded*] (more dmg or more attack range)

or Laser Gun + [Cooler GX-4] = LaserGun[upgraded*] (fastest laser gun)

-its all ok,you know (but plzz no need stupid magic here(in battle ships),because BS its not a game for little children -6yo, LOL)

When they take two weapons to make a better isn't necessarily magic. You could be taking materials from the two weapons and assemble them in a different way.

I hate to tell you this but if a game is hosted or played on battle.net it is played or hosted by little kids so this game is for little kids. And adults alike.

I've never played a battleship map and this thread has intrigued me to. I can't judge your map properly since I haven't played one but I can tell you that so far it looks like a nice map.

You should make your own ships though. Even if they are favorites in other maps it might turn people away knowing that you took 3/4 of the ships from other maps.

Also those secret areas aren't very good. They give an advantage for one player over other players at the start. You have to try to keep everything fair for maximum enjoyment for everyone. Again this could turn people away.

you dont understand... this secrets -its absolutely random,in one game will be 3 secrets but in next game will be 0 secrets! for example "compass of desires" have only 33%chance to be spawned(read my change logs carefully) and you need time to find it (random position on the map!),and some time to get gold! and you need good sails and fast ship to find it... so you need some gold first

also! you dont know at what time of game secrets will be spawned! its absolutely random,and even I really dont know,and i will not spend my time to search them, especially if them is not in the game right now!

its not all... its balanced... because if you go to search secrets,i go to destroy your towers (12towers *600gold) and I WILL GET MUCH MORE GOLD from it! ...

also if you found "compass of desires" its not mean that its DISBALANCE,because you dont count how many towers i already destroyed from you! and you really dont know,maybe your enemies just found a "phoenix bird"??? (and in a reality not you have additional gold, but your enemies have)

so, all is ok,because in one game you can search for secrets about 2hours! and you will find nothing,but in next game you can find something valuable fast.. -i think its really nice (аnd I already have spent a lot of time to balance it)

Ps. but anyway i add new command (for host?) to turn it off (all secrets)

Besides: That allready has been done on bs allstars. And is allways imbalanced, as all the 13s have different money systems.
I'll try it anyway. And if you have nothing against it, I will post it on GAOP.com, the best 13s community on the usenet. (vote for it plz, it is on place 3 of the WarCraft pages - thank you )

Anyways, it aren't really 30-40 weapons. Not even that many abilities. Without the use of SpellBook you only can get 4 abilities per item => 24 maximum abilities. The maximum number of weapons should be achieved with Lenins hammers or with crossbowmen.

That is how I described my map. Still gravedigger had to show that he will never understand that 13s or BS might have multiple meanings. I would not wonder if he heard hip-hop...

i played it. i sucks. There are bugs and the creeps are stupid. Some weapons are imba.

-The air harbour.... you can easily get in it by using the transport ship
-The air harbout sucks. 25 Fame to get the best airship? just lol. And 5 for weakest.
-Wood sucks too. Some weapons need 100 wood... lol!
-Imba weapons. You know dwarfen sniper rifle? I just could place vision wards all over the world and use my dwarfen sniper rifles. Everybody dies.
-The ships have a extreme small sight radius. I just placed my vision wards to see enemies and i killed a black pearl with such a shit 2k HP boat easily just because the pearle couldn't see me (Just 300-400 sight range? wtf?)
-Creeping sucks too. The creeps give little money and are not worth killing them. The turtle boss had veeeeeeeeeeeery much HP and just gave 1k gold... Totally not worthy it)
-The creeps sleep at night. And I usually dont have an item to wake them up.
-The lvl-up book doesn't drop. its just here... And also if it would drop it would be a cheap bonus for such a strong boss.
-The bosses are boring. They have no spells wich they use. Just those stupid naga side units had some.
-The elite crew spell sucks. In normal version you can check what you want. here you just get a mix with a shitty icon.
-Your weapons suck. They are boring. You know, you can add 100000 weapons to BS but it doesn't have to get better.
-Your ships suck. The spells are boring.

Don't kill him, it isn't even his map, everything is based on: BS allstars.
This is simply an Allstars mod. Not that good mod, neither...
What did you add to allstars? Only the weapons and the terrain, afaik. And the terrain now is pretty...
Well i won't tell ya.
The weaponsystem is pretty nice, anyways. But I would have thought of somewhat more interesting... Lol.
And how may you even say it to be your own with out giving credits?

Lol its kinda hard to be polite to some person if that person calls you stupid because he/she did not understand you, and then tells you he would write a good English.

It is kinda hard too when I have trouble understanding you... My suggestion would be: Pay more attention to your English classes if you even have some, because I loose track of his train of thoughts after two or three lines, which results in frustration ( and that makes me not more polite, for sure!)
