Is there any way that i can take units, triggers and items from one map i made, and transfer them over to another? I know it will need a save/load system of some sort. The reason is im making an RPG map and wish to use different tilesets for special dungeons.

Under Files inside the Object Editor and the Trigger Editor, there should be an "Export **** Data" option.

Game Cache can store units and variables, if you're looking to jump your heros or individual items from map to map. Triggers I don't know. If I was going to jump from map to map I'd set up each map with the correct triggers already. As you can just import and export triggers (And items)to the susequent maps through editor. As Daxtreme has posted. If the game cache won't move items that are on stored units, store the items as variables of type item then make checks at the start of each new map or jump for each player and essentially re-give those items. You'll probably want to make sure that any custom items are imported to all maps. Just a thought. (Not sure if items can be transfered individually through game caches... haven't needed to try that myself yet, in theory it looks like it would work).

In an empty trigger choose new action and explore the uses of the game cache functions.

Don't listen to Omegas. I have no idea what he is talking about. Dax's method will work perfectly. Just make sure that if you have triggers that use the regions created on your old map, that you must make new regions to replace those.

Sorry he stated he was making an RPG and my thoughts were that he wanted to take Heros, items, etc. from map to map in a campaign (In game)... If he's just trying to duplicate the same map with different tile sets without the intention of jumping between them, then yes it's just export import making sure to replace regions... Sorry bout that. :( Of course I should have probably linked the Tutorial in the forum here ablout using game caches, which I'll do if he wants.
