How can i do the feedback ability but with triggers?

Hello,
I need to do an ability with triggers, and that does what does the skill feedback... I need to do it by triggers becouse for some reason that ability(feedback) isn't work right...The ability is have to work exactly like the feedback but without bugs :S

How can i do it?

PS: The feedback ability stops working anytime in the game without any apparent motive.

a unit is attacked

level of feedback for attacking unit is not equal to 0

set mana of attacked unit to (mana of attacked unit)-X

or create a dummy unit to mana burn, actually seems easier to me then it will do damage depending on how much mana is drained

Set VarLvl = (Level of Ability1 for (Attacking unit))
Unit - Set mana of (Attacked unit) to ((Mana of (Attacked unit)) - (10.00 x LEVEL OF ABILTY))

LEVEL OF ABILTY: how can i do something like that?
