RP Maps

Do people still even play these maps anymore? I remember when there were tons of people playing these role playing maps and now I can't even seem to find one game.

I myself used to love playing RPG's...But I have not played Warcraft 3 in months...so I have no idea if people play them anymore.

Yes people play these still, on US west there will be one on every so often
but it is rare to find when your looking for one (kinda like a watched pot doesn't boil if you get that)

Much more common on US. East or Europe.

And peoples, we are not talking about RPG's. We are talking about RP's.

RP's, yea. Before, I often played them. Even in single player they are fun to play.

The most famous RP is Demise of Brotherhood RP (DoBRP). Then comes many more RP's like Penguin RP and continentals, there are lots at EpicWar and esp. in that Wc3 Mega Map Pack in the Wc3 Files site.

I still have these in my comp though they're untouched for so long.

What is excatly a RP map?

Is it like playing a "real roleplaying game" with Warcraft's engine? Uhh... sounds weird. Why don't you just get a punch of friends together and play some pen&paper roleplaying games if you really want to play roles and such.

I don't know. Maybe I am just too old but sounds very difficult. I don't like to mix PC games and real RPGs.
