Im using two wisps because that is how the system works...
If a player gets 50 kills they get one wisp to buy a hero with, and certain heroes cost more wisps.
I could use a tavern and gold to do this but i would rather use gold for other things.
Im replicating a game from starcraft and...
i want to make a trigger so when 2 wisps enter a circle of power it gives you a hero just like a normal hero selector except with 2 wisps not one...
i can make the hero appear but idk how to kill BOTH wisps, not just one wisp...
I got the variable set up but i dont understand this part.
KillCounter[Player Number of (Owner of (Killing Unit))] = KillCounter[Player Number of (Owner of (Killing Unit))] + 1
If KillCounter[Player Number of (Owner of (Killing Unit))] is Greater than or equal to 50 then do ....
else...
Alright i've looked through the trigger editor in WE and i cant figure out how to do this.
I want to make a trigger that does this:
Player Red kills 50 units
no conditions i guess
Create one wisp at center of X region
reset kill counter to 0
I think that i have to use variables...
so im pretty good at making maps but im not too advanced in GUI... can someone direct toward a tutorial about dummy casters or tell me how to make them?
A series of towers called something like armor piercing towers
Model: i have no idea, use what you want
Specialness: Each tower would have an attack that would do lots of damage to a certain armor type, but very little to all others. You would need one tower for each armor type in the game...
i need a good tutorial, and i need to learn how to border... the one on worldeditorhelp isnt too good... I need to learn to make a DSBTN... any advice?
Call me stupid...
im a pretty good mapper, but i dont know what dummy casters are or what they do... I understand they are invisi units that cast a spell, but how to i make them? how do i use them? tutorial?
thanks...
you could install a torrent (yes i know it is illegal, but he has already bought the game and has legal CD keys...) and use your legal Bnet CD keys to install it and see if that works. if it doesnt work then it isnt your TFT that is damaged...
i got it... for some reason even though there isnt a casting time in game, in the editor the casting time must be set to 3 seconds for it to work... thanks for the help though
option 3 >>> more fun, gets people to actually have to work a little bit for their spell improvement. perhaps put in a puzzle for the quest to make it even harder
this option presents a CHALLENGE that is rare to find in many wc3 custom games, most of which are made by bad mappers
