Need a little help guys...
I recently purchased a notebook and now I'm having some strange connectivity issues on my existing DSL home line. For instance pages never stop loading (currently 'Waiting for www.thehelper.net...'), I'm unable to connect to game services like Battlenet or Steam...
I like the ASUS N61JQ-A1, I recently got similar but scaled down Intel i5 ASUS notebook and kinda wish I'd spent the extra cash on this one. The ASUS ASUS G73JH-A2 is pretty robust for the price, a dedicated gaming laptop, and has a larger 17" screen if that's your preference.
Being that it's a HD (containing your precious data) I'm going to assume your probably willing to put a little time into seeing if it's salvageable. Why don't you try stripping all device connections (optical drives, hard drives) and set the suspect hard drive to auto-select by pulling the...
My old video card, BFG's GeForce7600 GT OC, recently died (RIP) and I'm looking for a comparable PCIe replacement for this system, an 2.00 GHz Athlon running on an Asus M2V-MX board.
I'm looking at a Diamond Radeon 'Stealth' HD 2400 Pro 256MB. It seems to be a somewhat comparable card with...
Well I like the original trees, so ideally I'd just take 8-10 of the existing variation models and use the existing textures, like Uber said, so I'd only be adding the extra models. So lets say I added 50-80kb worth of models is it better to use doodads for trees instead of destructibles, is it...
The files have been moved or changed after importing (the file paths are incorrect)?
I'd recommend starting a new map and importing some of your older models and textures to confirm that the issue is related to this recent change. You may find the issue is in fact with another model.
If foresting a map (TD, RPG) for scenic effect, and not requiring trees to be destructible, would it be more memory efficient to create a custom doodads or change the models of an existing doodads (like the Indestructible Barrens and Sunken Ruins trees) to that of the trees you wish to use...
Can Waits be replaced with the TriggerSleepAction function to cut back on memory leakage, or are they essentially the same thing? I.e... call TriggerSleepAction( 1.00 )
After scouring the forums for an hour or so trying to figure out what was happening with my minimap (was getting fatal error for having a 128x128 image instead of 256x256 as the war3mapMap.tga), I decided to post this tutorial even though I'll probably get flamed like a spirit walker in ethereal...
I think people are responding to the question literally, but if you just mean two people working on the same map, not necessarily at the exact same time, then obviously you could work from a map saved to a location in which you both have access, i.e. a network drive or ftp server. However, you...
There seems to be some kind of delay (Wait) required between the event of the Destructible Dying and the Remove Destructible action. I'm messing around with this at the moment, and after setting a 2 second wait into the trigger, I no longer crashed. I then tested with a 0.10 second wait time...
