rather hard to come up with "original" spell/hero ideas but a good way to come up with them is to think of "eye candy" and then build effects around what you would think something would be cool looking, at least that's how I do it and it helps a lot

hey poo, yea i got that ability still, sorry i have just barley got back on, i made the ability a bit cooler i think, but that trigger wont work, there is never an area where it will cover only 1 type of terrain style and resetting it to a preset style will just replace my roads dirt and grassy...
i am not sure if there is one but from experience its good to hand craft the balance due to all the different mechanics you can have in your AoS, but if there is one that would be very nice and id like to see it as well

I want it to not bend and not arc but kind of just a straight up and down 90 degrees like just like a pole that has 1 end bolted to the ground but its on a 90 degree angle.
