The bit about lasting 3-5 minutes is just in extreme cases. Say you try a new start, it doesn´t work out, the opponent kills you quickly...

I actually wanted to have units able to build roads and have vehicles move faster on them. Guess it cannot be done in a somewhat straightforward way, right? Anyone?
If I could just access the points used for creating the roads in the terrain editor...
Rage, your installer installed nothing. It says it was successfully installed but I don´t see a new folder anywhere. Surely I must be doing sthing wrong.

The game is complex and I am proud of that. If people aren´t willing to put some effort to learn it then too bad. Nice try on my part and let´s all move on.
It´s not a campaign or rpg map. It´s more geared towards competitiveness, and I think a story isn´t needed there. I have played melee wc3 for years and never ever touched the campaign.

Hi all,
I have a few potions that I want, when used, to keep healing the target even if attacked. I have set "Dispel on Attack" to false on the ability in object editor, but it doesn´t work (ie. the healing effect is dispelled when attacked).

Discs very rarely happen, and it seems to be just me discing. Just have to add some heroes and test it a bit for flagrant imbalances and then it is ready to go!

I could simulate the aura with triggers, that´d work, but it wouldn´t show the brilliance aura graphics on the hero -the blue circles.
Maybe combining your idea Ghan with the Brilliance aura graphics in "Art - Target" with the item armor bonus ability.

Hello all, I am making this Battle Mage hero with a Caster/Combat Mode ability based off immolation.
When the hero is in combat mode, it does bonus damage but loses mana per second.
When the hero is in caster mode, it has lvl 1 brilliance aura.

This game really sounds amazing. I am specially interested in all the work done to "rework" the hero system -even the hero creation sounds unique- like adding stuff like morale or the energy system where your units move slower if "tired" or hurt.

Got rid of the spell book, so using hero abilities is much faster now. All in all, the hero system was reworked, and also you can choose an speciality at lvl 3 hero now.
Also the hero selection has been improved, and the goal is much clearer: destroy the enemy sanctuary.

After been given positive feedback on the new version, I think it is ready to be released to the public to gather further feedback.
Myself, I think it is around 10 times better than before, but I am the creator so that might not hold a lot of weight.
