Not really drum and bass, but what the hell. It was okay. I don't really like the synths. And seriously, get some better drum samples. I like the pad/bell thing at 1:15. The melody was awesome and happytiemz. The bass is a little too muddy. Try EQ'ing it a bit. The synth after 3:40 was awesome...

I don't know about soundfonts but I have a giant collection of kicks, snares and hats made specifically for drum and bass. :) I guess I could upload it somewhere, but I'm too busy at the moment.

I don't agree that it was crappy, but there sure was a lot of random build-up that could've been removed.

It's okay. Turn the bass on the kick up, and turn down the synths. It seems a little offtone sometimes, but that's easily fixed. Your hi-hat is too "straight forward", put some variation in it. Maybe turn the drums into a breakbeat instead. It's a good club-banger, but it's far from done yet. ;)

A trigger can have no events, but then they'll need another trigger to fire it. As for your problem, I don't know. I don't see why it shouldn't be working.
