Purported leaks of Grand Theft Auto 6 footage on TikTok may have come from the child of a Rockstar Games employee, according to reports.
UK-based game news site Eurogamer first reported that a TikTok account called @i_see_in_4k uploaded two short videos claiming to be a "first look at GTA 6" on Saturday. The videos show short clips of what appears to be the game's map.
Rockstar Games announced Friday that the first trailer for the highly anticipated game will be released on December 5.
Shortly after the footage was posted to TikTok, GTABase, a games news site that IGN calls "one of the more trusted accounts covering Rockstar games" reported that "it appears the 'leaked' footage has come from the son of a Rockstar Games employee."
