Ability to spawn units

Hey guys, how will i be able to make an ability that spawns units every few seconds that you can turn on and off?

maybe you can try the pocket factory ability? i not entirely sure but it may be worth a shot

Well im trying to make the units spawn at a building. I tried to give it a bloodlust ability with a trigger that creates a unit when casted a footmen is created but the building doesnt autocast on itself

um...Pocket Factory, have you tried it? Just change what it spawns and how often.

The thing is with pocket factory you can't turn the spawning on and off. It just keeps on producing units.

Then try a trigger.

Give pocket factory an ability that says on, and one that says off. Then make a trigger so if off spell is cast, kill the units that come out until you press on again.

try immolation.

detect if the unit has the immolation buff then spawn.

The only problem is in triggers what even can you use? All i can find is:
-A Unit Begins Channeling an ability
-A Unit Begins Casting an ability
-A Unit Stops Casting an ability

Also what ability do you suggest I use?
Is immolation counted as a channeling ability?

no, i mean in periodic time, check if the unit has the immolation buff, then spawn units if it has it.

immolation, when activated gives the hero a buff.
when deactivated, the buff is removed.

now, all you need is to order the created units.
