Active to Passive

There's any way to set a active ability to be passive? I was trying to create a permanent berserk effect on a unit with no cast required, only ability learn

I don't think there's a way.
Other than the traditional..

Removing + Adding new ability

Then of course, you got to have two abilities of the same kind, one passive, one active..

You can't make an ability do something it isn't already doing.

Though, a dummy that would cast something on your Hero with a duration of around 99999 seconds should work.
Unless of course, you can find some aura that would do it.

Just reduce the unit backswing animation and attack speed to give it a good speed.

Why would you want to create such a ability when you could have just reduce the speed.

AceHart idea is the ideal one. Im also interested in the damage recived bonus, thats why im interested on such ability

Depends on the map...
There's also nothing wrong with a dummy that casts this every 2 seconds.

Or some item abilities that aren't visible.
Or a hidden spell book with some passives.
Or replacing the unit with a faster one if all else fails. Chaos helps there.

well assuming the Beserk ability from the TFT trolls (more attackspeed, more movesspeed, more damage taken)


use endurance aura (affectin only the hero) to get the speed bonus
and to amplify the damage taken... <thinking>
hmm negative armor upgrades?
just guessing for now
