Ryuu is right, there is not such function in the trigger editor that I can find, even though there is a remove buff...

Why not make a dummy cast it on the unit?

And the hotkey for "find..." in WE trigger editor is ctrl+shift+f
hotkey for object editor (and maybe others) is ctrl+f.
Atleast mine is.

Usually when I need a buff to show from an ability that gives no such option, I add a custom tornado slow aura ability to the respective unit. It doesn't show an icon and can be easily removed whenever you wish. Try that.
