Anyone want a spell done?

Im pretty good with spells but i guess im just intermmediat(note: I dont think i spelt this right lol) level. If you have any requests just ask. I dont know how to do JASS or code so don't ask for really complicated ones please. Well really I guess I cant make spells but really cool spell effects..... lol this is probally a confusing thing but anyway if you want me to make a cool looking ability or spell effect i can do it....

If you say you can make spells. Then I have a little request for you, just to test your skill. It does not have to be MUI, but it would be a plus:)

Backstab.
Causes the unit to run straight jump over the target unit making a flip in the air and when behind the target the unit throws a dagger into the back of the target.

Only works when the unit is infront of the target and in a distance of 100 tops, that would mean melee range. And the target has to be stunned for the duration of the jump:thup:

+rep to you if you can make it work good:thup:

^^Lol, so much for a simple "little request". :p

I think he would need JASS or at minimum very good GUI skills to be able to do that. So much for "just a test" :p

lmao! I don't know about the flip but I can probally do the rest! Seems pretty easy.... Give a little time and ill have it finished. No more than a week ok?

That is more than ok, if you can make the flip it will be even more ok;) I know that it is possible to make a unit pitch;) Thought it would be a good trigger to learn more about triggers for you:D

It is a little request, nothing to hard really. And no, he won't need any JASS at all actually;) only way to need JASS for this is to make it MUI, wich is optional:p

how? In what map have you seen this?

some models has a flip in one of their animations like for example the troll headhunter otherwise it is as far as i know impossible to flip a unit.(I would be glad to be proven wrong)

I've seen it in combat zone made by N-A-Z-G-U-L
It is like playing battlefield in wc3. The planes can make loops and stuff.

It is fully possible by changing these two:
Art - Maximum pitching angle (degrees)
Art - Maximum roll angle (degrees)
they are in the object data.

don't know how he have done to change their facing tho. All I know is that it has something to do with those values.
It is probably just possible to do with JASS tho:eek:

yup. the models don't have that animation, so that is not it. but that would had been the easy way around.

And Forsakener, it is possible to make it spin a 180 or maybee even a 540 instead of making it flip. That can look good to:D and that is a little easier to do:eek:

Idk know how to even do that if you know a trigger for it that could help.. or give me a run through of how ot to that...

Most triggered spells are best, so if you became more sort of a expert, go and learn JASS. :)

Ive spent 8 hours today trying to learn JASS but its so confusing! Non of the tutorials i found really helped.. I swear i havent learned a thing!

What? When have i posted that much? Anyway most of it was when i first started... This is the first time i joined a forum and didnt know there were any rules...

Like what do you mean? what JASS experts? Lol it would help if i met some lmao well anyway the thing is I have never done programming before and i just got TFT on monday so yea... And sorry people if im not following the rules. Im starting to learn the rules and follow them... agian sorry

download jasscraft.
can be found on www.hiveworkshop.com
It is really a diamond among pearls;)

then just start converting triggers to custom text and writing you triggers in jasscraft.
it got a pretty good syntaxchecker to:thup:


And Forsakener, it is possible to make it spin a 180 or maybee even a 540

Thanks! And i will see what i can do with the spin.. never done it before but it looks easy... give me a little bit and ill get it done

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
