Archery tactics, lookin for a good terrainer and testers

Archery Tactics Reborn v3.03 (test version)This is a map i was drawn to making some time ago then my map buddy actually made a prototype archery tactics map, so i did the triggers. Just he rushed the terrain and its not very good, and of course in archery tactics, the terrain plays a big role in the game.


I will finish the next version in a week, which will include these three modes that you vote at the beggining:
-amo
-normal
-unlimited mana


*amo mode- in this mode each player starts with 5 arrows, when you run out you cant shoot, but you can buy them for 10 gold per 3 or have sumone give u some (its basically wood)

You gain arrows by killing people and walking over the arrows they leave. this took me a while to get working so thats the purpose of this version, just to test the amo mode. normal mode works and unlimited amo mode of course works, and i THINK amo mode works now but i need to find glitches if there are any.

there are also a few different game types you can play that the host picks in the beggining:
-ctf (capture the flag)
-free for all (your everyones enemy, one to reach kill limit wins)
-mass killing (team to reach kill limit wins)
-timed (team with most kills at time limit wins)
-timed ffa (person with most kills at time limit wins)


I've almost got these game types finished just its on another map thats not yet playable. You of course vote on kill limits and time limits as in all archery tactics games.

About this version:

-Gold actually has value in this archery map since theres quite a few usefull items for you and your team to benifit from(if you have one)
-as you kill more people successfully without dying your bounty gets higher and higher, as people clime the ranks animations occur in game so you can show off.
-of course theirs tuants!
-recognizes double and tripple kills.
-when you kill 8 people (god) without dying you get an arua that lets people know what thier up against. the aura of course doesnt go anything other then make you look cool.
-at end scores are shown for most kills, deaths, flag captures.
-camera system that has 4 cameras to pick from and by hiting g, you can save you current camera mode and resume a normal game camera easily. Hiting g again will cuase the camera to resume.
-everyone has thier own personal stats that displays your bounty, arrows (if in amo mode) highest kill without death and present kills without dying. Also...it shows you your kill/death ratio in percent so you can always go out to beat it.



Abilities-

wind walk, blink, dodge (cant autocast :rolleyes: as in other versions) and shoot. you can level your shoot ability to increase its range and lower cooldown time.

This is the amo mode test version so it will start up in CTF and Amo mode, ty for readin!


Next version, which will be done most likely in a week, will include-

-all of the modes and game types as above
-ability for host to set movement speed twice in game, of course everyone else has to agree on it.
-possibly an option in game to turn off certain abilities or make certain items unperchasable.
-er i know the minimap pic is of illidan...just thought it looked cool :D ill make one like that but have an archer on it this time
-working on a save and load code system, a short code that you can enter that saves you highest bounty and kills without death. There will be 2 or 3 other archers that you can unlock, say, if you go 18 kills without dying and enter the code into your next game.

northrend tileset, mostly flat with a lot of treese and a makeshift lake in the middle.

    Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
