Battlefield Vietnam
Let's start off to say this is a good game .
Graphix are good .
The vietnam jungle is displayed very well in 14 maps .
The gameplay is just as addictive as the Battlefield 1942 series .
The choppers are great to fly .
You can select a song while driving or flying a vehicle and everyone near the vehicle can hear the song you selected .
The songs are all 60's/70's and a few damn good tunes if i may say so .
At first the game looks unbalanced and infact it is but is not so unbalanced as you might read on some forums ..
The Vietcong has weaker weapons but if you use alot of stealth you can go far .
The only thing that is not balanced is the Law rocket soldier on the US side . This class carries a LAW rocket with 5 rockets and an M60 and 250 bullets .. i think in real life this guy has to carry 400 pounds or so hehe . The problem with that class also is that the m60 is accurate as hell . So you will see entire US teams choose the LAW class .. However if you play on a no name tags displayed server (example 206.50.145.149) the M60 owning/raping is reduced to nothing ..
But why gripe on such a thing while the rest is kickass ?
Okay nother rant/gripe .. EAX support .. If you cannot support it at the time leave it .. Put it in a future patch and don't babble advertise bout doppler effects while ppl with super duper soundcards hear the weirdest sounds ..
If your a battlefield 1942 addict you might wanna wait a little till this game get's patched . Right now i would not recommend clans todo fight clanwars with the current build of BFV.
