Ok this JUST happened, like today. I was doing something and i saw this. Wtf is with it?

It skipped 8 and it ALWAYS says Red Player 1 never 0.

You maybe want to reinstall wc3.. if you cannot get it work right in any other way..

Im not going to reinstall it. And its only WE not Wc3. And by i was doing something i mean i was placing a creep on a normal melee map. XD Making a goblin race BTW.

Have you edited the Player Forces or player names?

Maybe from 1-8, it uses JASS player numbers, then from 9-12, it uses regular player numbers.

That means that it will be:
- 0
- 1
- 2
- 3
- 4
- 5
- 6
- 7
- 9
- 10
- 11
- 12

What is the problem with reinstall? The only explanation I can see is that you messed with player's name, but I'm not sure even that could change it... Hmmm, is this normal WE or WEU? Do you use the original WC3? Not some wierd crack? Did you photoshop it to see us go mad?

I'm out of ideas. Is it the same in different maps?

Yeah my WE has player red as 1 and it doesn't skip 8, either. Probably just a glitch with yours.

Hes right, sometimes WE starts with jass numbers. Basicly on computer speech the smallest value is 0. So everything starts with 0. We as humans are begining counting with the number 1. So its irritating that WE sometimes will start with 1 and another time with 0. But, you only have to look to jass scripts. Because GUI have to transfair the numbers into "Number-1" for everything on player numbers for example its bad to have GUI scripts in the map!
