Hey, so I got a new harddrive for my computer a while back, and reinstalled everything, and manually installed any drivers I was missing, or that weren't included in the cd that came with my computer. Today, a situation came up and I wanted to use my built in bluetooth, and before getting the new harddrive, I had disabled my bluetooth device to conserve power on my battery, since I never really used it.
I went into my device manager to re-enable it and to my surprise, the bluetooth adapter ins't listed among my devices. I figured, well maybe I'm just missing the driver, and so I looked up the driver I need for it and downloaded it from dell. I'm trying to install the driver right now, but it's telling me to activate my bluetooth device by pressing either Fn F2 or using the radio controller switch. I have tried both and neither activated it. I'm guessing this is because the device was disabled before I got the new harddrive? Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I might re-enable the device and finish installing my driver?
