Is it possible to make a spellbook witch build buildings for gold and now mana..thios is getting on my nerves :banghead: .... grrr HELP

np man, you know how to make a normal spellbook right?

just modify the tiny castles and tiny things to whatever building you need, change it so it has infinite charges(0) make it cost mana, put it into the spellbook, annndd

The buildings have to cost money/gold and they dont this way..

another easy problem.

all you need to do is edit it so that it costs lumber and gold. doesent have to cost mana. you look in the campaigns and you have the minicastles that cost gold, its even easierif you dont want mana

If you give a spell book a build small castle abulity then the game will crash as soon someone pick up the spellbook..

*The reason i said that wasi becuse i just tested it.. but i dident make eny changes from the "build tiny castle" spell... do you thing it will help change somthing in the spell..

or just make a spell based of wind walk, set all settings exept manna to zero, then have a trigger where when a unit casts an ability, create a bla at point of where the spell was casted. then have a condition where the players current gold is greater than or equal to however much gold you want it to cost. and subtract however much you want it to cost from the player current gold. make it an if then else function, and have the else action be display to player the ttext not enough gold, and play the sound (optional). post a reply for the full trigger if you want.

That wont work becuse I need it to build like 5 buildings..

and i was wrong when is said, that the game will crash when i put the "build tiny castle" ther is somthing wrong with the spellbook i use.. sorry about the head :banghead:

This way, but skip the trigger gold part, and base it of "Charge gold and lumber"

WHAT is wrong with editing the original build tiny bla spells??????
its somuch simpler than making other dummy spells(windwalk?whaaat?)
just edit the spells that blizzard is nice enough to give you and stop complicating everything to the point that it looks like you r writing JASS instead of answering him.

maybe its yourcom thats messed up.

post EXACTLY what yoou did on thehelper and get someone to test it on their coms, then we'll know forsure if its the book or your com.

It works now.. just my com that was messed up... I am gona reboot it soon...
but I will try to mix somthing together.. and then repport back..
