Building limit

Is there a way to limit the amout of one building you can build. To clarify, i want the players to be limited to only have one blacksmith per player. They can rebuild if it is destroyed. But can only have one at a time.

You could do something like:
Trigger:
  • trigger
    • Events
      • Unit - A unit Begins construction
    • Conditions
      • (Unit-type of (Constructing structure)) Equal to Blacksmith
    • Actions
      • Unit Group - Pick every unit in (Units owned by (Owner of (Constructing structure))) and do (Actions)
        • Loop - Actions
          • If (All Conditions are True) then do (Then Actions) else do (Else Actions)
            • If - Conditions
              • (Unit-type of (Picked unit)) Equal to Blacksmith
              • (Picked unit) Not equal to (Constructing structure)
            • Then - Actions
              • Unit - Remove (Constructing structure) from the game
              • Player - Add X to (Owner of (Constructing structure)) Current gold
              • Player - Add Y to (Owner of (Constructing structure)) Current lumber
            • Else - Actions

X and Y being the cost of the building.

Ok so what that does is if they try to build a second on it removes it and give u money back? Is there not a way to remove from build list until the buildings destroyed?

Well I was looking through the actions and found a much simpler solution:
Trigger:
  • trigger Copy
    • Events
      • Map initialization
    • Conditions
    • Actions
      • For each (Integer A) from 1 to 12, do (Actions)
        • Loop - Actions
          • Player - Limit training of Farm to 1 for (Player((Integer A)))

This is much simpler and does what you want, no need to bother with what I was doing before.

how about this?
Trigger:
  • player - limit training of UNITTYPE to AMOUNT for PLAYER

do it at map init for all player and you are done.

    Looks like Google fixed whatever mistake that made the recipes on the site go crazy and we are no longer trending towards a recipe site lol - I don't care though because it motivated me to spend alot of time on the site improving it and at least now the content people are looking at is not stupid and embarrassing like it was when I first got back into this like 5 years ago.

    Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.
