Buying Spells from a shop?

I made a custom version of the Goblin Merchant and gave it a custom version of the item Agility Tome that gives +0 agility with the name and icon of "Chain Lightning". Then, I made this trigger...

Chain Lightning
Events
Unit - A unit Sells an item (from shop)
Conditions
((Buying unit) is A Hero) Equal to True
(Item-type of (Sold Item)) Equal to Chain Lightning
Actions
Hero - Learn skill for (Buying unit): Chain Lightning (Item Spell)

But when i make a hero buy the custom version of the Agility Tome (Chain Lightning), the hero doesnt learn the skill Chain Lightning from the trigger... Why not?

Thanks in advance

EDIT: I read the info on the trigger "learn skill for hero" and i guess it doesnt add the skill unless the hero has a skill point to spend... but is there a way to get around this so they dont keep gaining skill points whenever they buy a spell?

Add "Hero - Modify unspent skill points of (Buying unit): Add 1 points"
before learning him the skill, that way he gets an extra skill point, and is able to learn the spell.

<ahh nvm, just found out how the forum works :p, didnt see any replies so i thought you didnt have an answer yet, but yea, the add ability works too :shades: >
