Can't get z-index to work :/

can anyone help me out with this...

i want this image to go in the background and the rest come above it.

You should just use the CSS Background property.

z-index works clearly if you stack things on-top of each other

try that out you'll see that green shows over the red , fit it to what you are doing just put in your background etc

or you can simply do it manually

i went back o making a CSS background but i have trouble moving it around how can i do that??!

You want to position it??

EDIT:

background-position: 0% 0%; #The first would be x% from the left and the second would be x% from the top

}

alternatively, you can use this:

body {

background-position: 0px 0px; # This one is positioned via pixels

}
