Change model of unit

hello! i need to know what trigger/spell to use to change the animation of the casting unit. ex: i got this runner medel on a unit and when you use a abilitty it will look that she mounts a panter, by changing the model to huntres.
but its a hero so how to do this without change the xp of the unit?

you cant change the model (you need to replace him, use smth like bear form)

do you play dota?(there is a druid which morphs into a bear and he has still its XP)

And, if you should want a hero ability that transforms a hero (and if you have the latest patch),

Use the Robo-goblin ability and modify it.

This is a thing I use very often.

Metamorphosis and Robo-Goblin both are transforming abilities, just don't forget to edit the buff of the abilities.

Also, I am not sure if just replacing would work (it might though, never tried just that). I usually store the exp and the abilities learned in a variable and then give them back when morphed (hiding level up graphics).

The difference between metamorphosis and Robo-goblin is that Robo-Goblin is forever, and has a turn on/off button.
Of course you can tweak metamorphosis to do the same thing, but why do that when you have it already done?

Well the unit abilities Morph Bear and Morph Hawk are the same too, also the Morph from Medivh. (is that also Hawk?)

I believe it is so. It should be almost the same ability.

By the way, do you actually control Medivh in the SP Campaign. Played through it a long time ago, don't really remember...

Perhaps in warcraft II ?? Only done the III ones

You can't control Medivh. You only see him some times.
