Channeling Cancelation Detection

ok so heres what i was wondering:
A hero cast a spell and he starts to channel it(i.e lifedrain) but the spell is trigger based. How would i make it so that when he stops channeling, the trigger stops wherever it is?

Some people like to do this for multiple things.

ok does turn off actions mean that it just skips the rest of the actions in that trigger?

then you dont understand my question. like life drain (example) if you stop or move your hero, the spell is canceled. how would i stop a triggered spell if it is channelling?

It depends on the structure of the trigger. Usually channeled trigger spells use a periodic time event which occurs once every X seconds of the game, which is a trigger you can turn off and on to control the effect. But for a MUI effect, I recommend using a Unit Group to limit which units the effect applies.
