World China: 3-year-old toddler menaced by heavy falling glass door; Survives

A 3-year-old girl was crashed down by a huge glass door that fell off at a shopping mall in Foshan of south China's Guangdong Province on November 6.

The horrifying moment was captured by CCTV camera and went viral online.

In the footage, the grandmother enters the building, followed by the toddler.

All of a sudden, the glass door fell down and trapped the girl underneath. The grandmother tried to stop the door from falling, but failed and was also knocked over.

The girl fell unconscious at the scene was rushed to the hospital. She was diagnosed with multiple fractures in her skull.

The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
