Okay, is there a way to for example have a machine gun turret and have it so that it does not move until you press the arrow keys. Like say you press the left key, the turret rotates left right -> right etc. but what im saying is not have it

Ya, do something like:
Code:
Events: Player Presses Left Arrow Key
Conds: 
Acts: Turn on Turning

Turning
events: Every 1 second of the game
Conds: 
Acts: pick every unit matching unit is selected by triggering player and matching unit type = turret and owner of matching unit =  triggering player and do Set picked unit facing angle = facing agnle of picked unit + 10

Events: Player Releases Left Arrow Key
Cond: 
Acts: Turn off Turning

You might want to change it into "Every 0.05 seconds every game time"

And change the angle

pick every unit matching unit is selected by triggering player and matching unit type = turret and owner of matching unit = triggering player and do Set picked unit facing angle = facing agnle of picked unit + 30

So it will be looking more smooth.

30 degrees every .05 seconds is, 20x30 degrees total....

600 degree rotations per second would be insane.
