Some newer setups will auto-power save mode.
Turn it off in the BIOS.
Theres another place to disable it, but I can't remember where.

Ok, I will try these. The extra virtual memory increased the speed a bit, but not much. I kind of expected that, since, from what I know, RAM is mainly effective in loading times rather than fps. The driver was already updated.

I haven't yet tested the performance-mode display settings and haven't got the time to clean the comp up. I'll check the power save mode and check the comp's specs asap.

I already had the problem of PSU not providing enough watts and I replaced it with one that surely provides enough. About heating, I checked temperatures with Everest and there's no prob =/.
