TEXTURING CONTEST 1​

DESCRIPTION​

This contest is where members of The Helper can try out there new or old skinning abilities.

RULES​

• No skin may violate any site rules.
  
• You must post atleast one Work in Progress preview of your entry before the deadline expires.
  
• You must post your entry and an screenshot of the skin wrapped, and the unwrap. All files must be physically attached to a post in this thread or in a download link.
  
• You may not edit the model in any way.
  
• The dimensions of your final entry have to be default.
  
• You must make the texture for this competition, no old textures can be used.

THEME​

This contest you have to reskin a HERO, this includes all heroes, Human, Creeps, Orc, Night Elf, Undead, and any other heroes.

Voting​

Voting will be done with a public poll.
You should vote on:

• (CnP) Does the skin fit its new wrap?
• Skin quality
• Completion
• Originality
• Warcraft-like
• Follows rules

You CANNOT vote for yourself.

WINNINGS​

Winner will receive rep from (Total of 15) FireEffect, Xapphire, Mizuio-Ken, Anaman64, Hatebreeder, Master Maste, esb, __________. (Need 1 more rep point.(I think))

Fine, I guess I'll try out, but only if some other people try out as well, looks fun, we'll see, I want to see how this comes along, maybe this can lead to a Skin/model forum.

What I meant is dont use MS Paint unless you can make a worthwile peice out of it, changed to "Do not use MS Paint"

Fire Pandaren is 128x128 and has same unwrap as others but others are 256x256

Wow, Tinki, why you got to be so uptight, don't be like that, why you trying to find every possible mistake or minor error, you can use common sense.

Hes not uptight, he is pointing out problems. I wish people could take critiques sensibly. I can understand why he asked most of those problems. The completion is common sense though. So is the MS Paint thing. But you need skinning knowledge for the Pandaren thing.

Any body that skins has seen that the Fire Pandaren is a tiny skin, so i think its ok.

Judging will be done with a public poll.
Judged on:

• Skin quality
• Completion
• Originality
• Warcraft-like
• Follows rules

You need to give the exact details about how you are judging. The grades, in other words, must be displayed.

Also, you need another judge.

I could join.. but the rules are quite messy..

The rules are indeed a bit vague and unclear on why some things are allowed and others arent. Please elaborate further on the rules, judging, etc where needed.

EDIT - MS Paint, Ill allow it but I doubt you can make a worthy skin in it.

EDIT - Full recolors take 0 skill. A full recolor is not editing anything about the skin, just changing the colors. I want people to use some creativity.
