The Magos Model Editor's Colored Text Tool
it's a really cool tool so i want to share it here.
it allows you to generate colorful in-game text.
the limit is that this is only applicable to
strings that do not include functions or formulas
First, you need the Magos Model Editor.
After opening the program, go to Extras > Colored Text
This window should show up:
Now, here are some descriptions on the controls:
Colors
- basically the color of the text.
- the gradient goes from Color 1 to Color 2
Color Type
- Solid or Gradient, pretty self-explanatory.
Text to Colorize:
- type your text here.
- remember, this only works for fixed messages that do not use formulas/functions.
Generate
- click this to generate the code for the text you entered.
The resulting text:
- this is the hex code for the message that you entered.
- you should not alter it because it may cause errors.
- simply, copy the long code and then paste it on WE.
You can use the text on:
>game message triggers
>floating texts
>multiboards/leaderboards, etc.
*can't be used for object editor due to character limits...
Now here are some samples that i made for my map:
i hope that this small tutorial would help your make you maps more colorful
