deconect other player at map start

i have a pobleme i created a map for multiplayer when i lunch it on bnet (i can host o do it often) i lunch the map and other player are deconected from the map imediatly when it start

i did an other map diferent in multipler and it does the same so i wanted to know if you know this probleme ? and if you know how to solve it ?

i can send map maybe is you want

Try hosting a popular map like DotA all-stars. If people are still getting disconnected check your router/firewall settings.

For the love of god please proof read your posts. You managed to spell "I" wrong.

i said i often host so that works i just want to know if other people have the same probleme and if they know how to solve it

could it be of the new patch 1.24 seems many map have been remade cause of it

Hm, me and another guy had a map where disconnections always happend in start of the game. We tried to find the problem. We tried for a couple of months and then gave up. But some things that we did was to remove all trigger, units, unit changes, doodads, imports and reset all units. Do that one after one till you have no disconnections. Then you at least know more specificly what causes the problem.

A reason for all the disconnections may be because maybe a trigger isn't being done correctly and is sucking up a ton of resources. Make sure to check for excessive memory leaks and inefficiencies.

@Tru_power22: He is French, English is most likely not his first language. Instead of bashing him be polite. At least he's putting in the effort to communicate.

and for the map i think i know wha trigger make the probleme but its hard to believe that is the real probleme cause my trigger seems fine in teorie they work perfectly when i'm alone but multiplayer that kick other player only left the host

If you don't know how to post the trigger, do this:

  1. Go to the "Trigger Editor", and click your trigger once.
  2. Now you can see the trigger-name, just above where it says "Event".
  3. Right-click that, and select "Copy As Text".
  4. Then create a new post here at the forum and click the
    wc3tag.gif
    button.
  5. Then, press Ctrl + V, and post the post.

Done ! :D

That way, we can easily examine your trigger ;)

Same Problem

Yah I get disconnected from my map I host alot too.

First off my windows Vista hosts on my laptop, but only through the modem (no Router) and i have to turn my firewall off. (network and sharing Center).

If i do that i can host fine....
However i still havnt figured out how to host on my macbook.

Also my Map ive been creating and testing **DAEMONIC SWORD RPG**
sometimes disconnects at start. I find its because someone who is playing has a shitting connection and lags everyone out usually. ( I hate laggers)

But my map is also huge which is probably why not all the information at the beginnnig could be distributed out too everyone fast enough. Hense they disconnected.

A few Solutions i found worked...

1) Map Optimizer 4.9 (check the forum youll find it)
(pretty much every button on that thing is clicked for my map)

2) I put a auto GAMEPAUSE at the beginning of my map, where i made introduction and for it to load without having to process moving things and such. PAUSING HELPS!!!
(while it was paused i loaded all the starting crap then i paused the units for a bit after gamepause comes off) then i start it...


IT HELPED ALOT! But people keep thinking their the ones who paused and start freaking out lol.. Its funny

first no i don't have probleme with my conection, box or routeur all work well
cause on other map i don't have this probleme its only with some


second i know how to copy a trigger :eek:

and more scientist i didn't know what trigger bug before that was why i ask

now i still have the probleme but i send the map look at the link i made and i can say to people if they want to look

triggers that lag and i relay don't know why are in the file hero and the systeme


when i erase those too and try the map again my friend didn"t get kick from the game so what it lag are in those too files of trigger thanks if people want to get a look

i found what bug it's on my trigger in hero and systeme section i use cam trigger but what i dont understand is why they cause that bug but i remove them and now the map works but i want to know why cause to understand how goes the editor thanks for help anyway

Please PLEASE show me that trigger which caused the bug. I have had a map where I have some camera stuff and I also have that same bug. So post it please.

see it's a simple trigger but the camera ligne bug and i wanted to know why

There's your problem. Using that instantly causes a desync. Don't use it. That's your only option besides replacing it with a version that doesn't totally fail.

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
