ok so i have two HDD with a different OS on each of them,
how do i set my computer up to where upon booting i can choose which OS to boot?

I have the option like you wanted on my laptop. You need to modify your boot.ini file. Here is an example:

[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect
C:\="Microsoft Windows"

I suppose you can guess out what the option you'll have from the above lines.
