editing models

how do you access the models for editing? i keep hearing stuff about war3.mpq but idk what it is or where to find it.

I dunno what u mean by that but if its importing models to your map and you dont know how to do that just ask me next time you post a reply and I will help you.

Editing models?, i use War3 model editor, war3.mpq is at warcraft folder, for me its C:/program/warcraft 3. you can also use warcraft 3 viewer, you press: Open mpq file, then go to C:/program/warcraft 3 and choose the War3.mpq file. when you have opened it, a list of MDX and something else turns up, choose something there.

And of course, if you want to make changes in the models, you will need an application such as Maya, 3Ds max and so on. There are converter programs if you want the models imported I believe.
