hey everyone just need a quick bit of help i've been trying to come up with an equation but am failing :banghead:.....the equation would be simple. it would take the distance between 2 points (a unit and a point of an ability) and it would calculate a time for how long it will take for the unit to arrive there. of course the unit is moving at a constant speed and towards the point of the ability cast.

dist(point a, point b)/ unit-movementspeed(current)

you should also check to amkesure that the current movement speed isnt zero, or you will have an error.

about now as a calc student i feel like an idiot XD its so simple i over looked it....

distance = rate X time

distance = [square root]( (x2-x1)^2 + (y2-y1)^2 ) [/square root]
