Thread has been purged of some sh*t. If you guys want to discuss dynamic triggers, do it elsewhere please, preferably in a thread specifically talking about dynamic triggers... This thread is for the discussion of the resource, and it will be kept that way.

He shouldn't use dynamic triggers :)

@Gwypaas, thanks for the link. I didn't read the whole thread but now it's really clear that dynamic triggers are very bad ! :(

My 4th update !
get rid of all dynamic triggers !
I prefer "nearest unit" more than "first of group" but "first of group" is... faster :)
the spell now only requires TT, I will try to make it "independant" :D

I found a bug, the frozen orb got outside of the map and crashed, safe functions are needed to get this approved this I think.
And sometimes my wc3 crashes when i cast ur spell.

What triggers? He just got rid of them and used a different method.

GetRect[Min/Max][X/Y](bj_mapInitialPlayableArea)
Should be stored into a global variable to avoid unnecessary function calls on every interval.

You also don't need that local boolexpr. Firstly, boolexprs are recycled like strings are. So there's no need to destroy them. And, if you really wanted to save that extra function call, you could make it a global.

Exploitable bug

I found out that, if you cancel the cast right after the orb have been launched, the cooldown wont initiate, and it wont cost mana, but the orb will launch to full effect!

asides from that i love it :D

He using "Unit begins casting" instead of "Started the effect of an ability" :eek:? Classic :p

well, I didn't know about that :confused:
btw it has 5 mana cost and 2 seconds cooldown.
